These inspections are vital to get ahead of yearly maintenance and optimize uptime. We can inspect all types of oxidizers (RTOs, DTOs, recoups, catalytic), ovens, hot oil systems, heat recovery systems and more.
A full preventative maintenance inspection of a thermal oxidizer includes:
- External inspection
- Discussion with customer about system performance and fault history
- Operational check of all switches, actuators and valves
- Full inspection of the control room including control cabinets, cooling fans and filters
- Grease solenoid spools and bearings (if required)
- Gas train inspection
- Internal inspection
- Check valves for proper seating
- Full inspection of all dampers
- Heat exchanger inspection for fouling and damage
- Inspect insulation and repacking where necessary
- Full inspection of main fans (wheel, shaft, bearings, etc)
- Inspect combustion blower
- Inspect burner cone
- Gas train checkout and test system safeties during restart
- Burner operation verification
- Thermocouple calibration

Maintenance Contracts

TANN will work with you to create a plan that is tailored specifically to your company, the length of the agreement can go from 2-5 years. Depending on what your plant requires, inspection intervals can be annually, semi-annually, quarterly, or more.
