If you are looking for an economical option for a reliable RTO, TANN has several used systems in stock ranging from 4,000 to 25,000 SCFM. As the original equipment manufacturer for these units, TANN can back a used RTO with a destruction efficiency guarantee, access to the original PLC program, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and a warranty after refurbishment.

Customizable Refurbishment for Used and Existing RTOs
The level of refurbishment can be customized to match your budget and application requirements. Options range from replacing critical components to a complete system overhaul. Refurbishment is available for TANN used inventory and for any existing RTO regardless of original manufacturer.
Component-Level Refurbishment
For systems that are in generally good condition, TANN can target the components most likely to affect reliability and performance. Common component-level replacements include heat exchange media, main fan bearings, poppet valve rollers, thermocouples, pressure switches, solenoids, and UV scanners.
Complete Refurbishment
A full refurbishment returns the system to like-new operating condition. This includes insulation, controls, gas train components, mechanical rebuilds, and a fresh coat of paint. TANN also offers upgrades as part of a full refurbishment including PLC modernization, cold weather packages, and updated combustion air control systems.
What a Full Refurbishment Includes
- Internal and external inspection
- Main fan motor and combustion motor rebuild
- Main fan bearing and belt replacement where applicable
- Insulation repacking and replacement as needed
- Complete rebuild of pneumatic cylinders
- Control valve actuator replacement
- New pressure switches, solenoids, and transmitters
- New thermocouples
- Top coat of paint
- Updated PLC program
- Hot gas bypass damper refurbishment where applicable
- New poppet valve rollers and UV scanner
Refurbishment Is Not Limited to TANN Systems
Refurbishment options are available for any existing RTO even if TANN is not the original manufacturer.
