Position Overview

TANN Corporation is seeking a motivated engineering professional to manage industrial air pollution control projects from concept through completion. This role combines project management, engineering, customer communication, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer expectations.

The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with customers, engineers, production teams, vendors, and contractors while balancing technical problem-solving with project execution. This position offers the opportunity to manage custom-engineered equipment projects used by manufacturers throughout North America and around the world.

This is a full-time position based in Kaukauna, Wisconsin and requires approximately 25%–30% travel to customer facilities, installation sites, and project meetings throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

What You'll Do

  • Manage projects from kickoff through startup, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, production, controls, and field service teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules while communicating progress with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review job costs, project budgets, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and bills of materials.
  • Perform engineering calculations and support equipment design activities for industrial air pollution control systems.
  • Partner with designers and engineers to develop drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor fabrication progress, quality, and project milestones while supporting production and installation activities.
  • Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, startup activities, and site support as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industrial manufacturing, engineering, or system design experience.
  • 3–7 years of engineering, manufacturing, project management, or technical project experience.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and customer communications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, layouts, P&IDs, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing systems, heat recovery systems, or air pollution control equipment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering and manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of airflow systems, sheet metal design, combustion systems, oxidizers, or industrial process equipment.
