6,000 SCFM RTO Manufactured in 2004
Refurbished in summer off 2014
In 2004 TANN manufactured a 6,000 SCFM RTO for the printing industry. The unit ran for 9 years and was inspected yearly with minimal required maintenance. The plant shut down and the RTO was relocated to TANNs facility in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Shortly after the RTO was installed as a refurbished unit in 2014 for an engine testing facility in order to keep the customer in compliance with the EPA. The refurbish included new exhaust fan bearings and belts, exhaust fan motor refurbish, new hot gas bypass damper, VFD refurbish, new poppet valve air cylinder seals, new paint and primer, upgraded PLC, new proximity switches, and many others.
Update 2015
This RTO has been running for 1 year now and passed its destruction efficiency test at 99% while operating with little to no gas usage during higher solvent loadings. TANN has its annual inspection scheduled for this fall to verify both mechanical condition, and all electrical components and safeties are fully functioning.
