Position Overview

This full-time position is located at our corporate office in Kaukauna, WI and will require frequent (30%-40%) travel. Qualified candidates will professionally represent TANN Corporation in all aspects of a project—most importantly customer relations and service.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Correspond with customers to identify needs and opportunities
  • Review potential solutions and select proper technology to fit customer needs and budget
  • Develop costing for technical solutions including equipment sizing, component selection, fabrication cost and installation requirements
  • Author well-defined scope-of-work documents/drawings outlining project requirements
  • Create high-quality proposal documents/drawings for company and customer approval
  • Seek feedback and identify opportunities for new products and services
  • Track actual vs. planned project costs, adjusting accordingly to stay within budget
  • Provide excellent customer service at customer location(s) and at corporate office to ensure customer’s needs are met
  • Create and present information to customers about TANN products and services
  • Complete FID testing at customer locations to verify equipment function
  • Complete in-house testing of customer samples to select appropriate solutions
  • Understand safety practices and procedures and continually implement them in the workplace or while working remotely, maintaining a low-risk tolerance and high-risk awareness

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering, or:
    • Equivalent experience in a related field may be considered
  • Possess the ability to perform the essential physical job functions/responsibilities of the position with high attention to detail in a timely, efficient manner
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative with minimal direction
  • Possess strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Can accurately measure distance, diameter, airflow, temperature, etc
  • Communicate and work effectively with other departments and team members
  • Prioritize and work on multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints, layouts, BOM, PLC programs, P&ID and other types of work orders/instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of thermal oxidizers and heat recovery equipment a plus
